bill; which was referred to the Committee on Armed Services, and in
addition to the Committee on Foreign Affairs, for a period to be
subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration
of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee
concerned

A BILL
To prohibit assistance under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative
until the President certifies to Congress that the Government of
Ukraine is not providing funding, equipment, training, fuel, or other
support to the Russian Volunteer Corps, the Azov Battalion, or any
other neo-Nazi militia.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Requiring Verification of Compliance
with Abandoning Ruthless Evil Neo-Nazis Act'' or ``RVC ARE Neo-Nazis
Act''.
SEC. 2. AMENDMENT.
Section 1250 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal
Year 2016 (Public Law 114-92; 129 Stat. 1608) is amended by adding at
the end the following:
``(k) Prohibition.--Notwithstanding any other provision of this
section, no assistance authorized under this section may be provided on
or after the date of enactment of this subsection unless and until the
President certifies to Congress that the Government of Ukraine is not
providing funding, equipment, training, fuel, or other support to the
Russian Volunteer Corps, the Azov Battalion, or any other neo-Nazi
militia.''.
