 To amend the Fair Credit Reporting Act to modify the applicability of 
  credit monitoring for active duty military consumers, and for other 
                               purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Credit Monitoring Integrity Act of 
2023''.

SEC. 2. AMENDMENT TO APPLICABILITY OF CREDIT MONITORING FOR ACTIVE DUTY 
              MILITARY CONSUMERS.

    Section 605A(k) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. 1681c-
1(k)) is amended by striking paragraph (4).
