                                 A BILL


 
    To amend title 10, United States Code, to direct the Secretary 
     concerned to pay, rather than provide reimbursement, for the 
   transportation of certain remains to two locations if the second 
                    location is a national cemetery.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Abbey Gate Gold Star Families 
Dignified Transport Act''.

SEC. 2. PAYMENT INSTEAD OF REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF 
              CERTAIN REMAINS TO TWO LOCATIONS IF THE SECOND LOCATION 
              IS A NATIONAL CEMETERY.

    Section 1482(a)(8)(B) of title 10, United States Code, is amended 
by striking the second sentence.
