 To prohibit the Secretary of Homeland Security from granting certain 
                   aliens temporary protected status.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``No Temporary Protected Status for 
Terrorists Act'' or the ``No TPS for Terrorists Act''.

SEC. 2. CERTAIN ALIENS INELIGIBLE FOR TEMPORARY PROTECTED STATUS.

    (a) In General.--The Secretary of Homeland Security may not grant a 
covered alien temporary protected status in the United States pursuant 
to section 244 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1254a).
    (b) Covered Alien.--In this section, the term ``covered alien'' 
means an alien who is a holder of a passport or other travel document 
issued by the Palestinian Authority.
