                                 A BILL


 
   To amend the National Levee Safety Act of 2007 to include in the 
definition of levee hard or manmade structures, and for other purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Seawall Expansion Act''.

SEC. 2. DEFINITION OF LEVEE.

    Section 9002(7) of the National Levee Safety Act of 2007 (33 U.S.C. 
3301) is amended--
            (1) in subparagraph (A), in the matter preceding clause 
        (i)--
                    (A) by striking ``manmade barrier'' and inserting 
                ``hard or manmade structure or barrier'';
                    (B) by inserting ``, seawall, revetment, bulkhead, 
                groin, jetty, breakwater, dike, levee'' after 
                ``floodwall''; and
                    (C) by inserting ``or soft infrastructure 
                (including a beach, dune, or coastal bank)'' after 
                ``other structure)''; and
            (2) in subparagraph (C)--
                    (A) in clause (iii), by inserting ``or'' after the 
                semicolon;
                    (B) in clause (iv)(V), by striking ``; or'' and 
                inserting a period; and
                    (C) by striking clause (v).
