Mrs. Hinson introduced the following bill; which was referred to the
Committee on Education and the Workforce, and in addition to the
Committee on Energy and Commerce, for a period to be subsequently
determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such
provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned

A BILL
To require the Secretary of Labor and Secretary of Energy to submit a
report to Congress on occupations and career paths affected by changes
in energy production and critical manufacturing.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Workforce Solutions Act''.
SEC. 2. REPORT ON WORKFORCE.
Beginning not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of
this Act, the Secretary of Labor and the Secretary of Energy shall,
jointly, submit to Congress, on an annual basis, an economic analysis
of occupations and career paths impacted by changes in the energy and
critical manufacturing industries, including information on--
(1) growth;
(2) entry-level occupations;
(3) pre-requisites for occupations;
(4) living wage salaries;
(5) career paths;
(6) barriers that prevent individuals in under-served
communities from acquiring employment in new occupations and
career paths in such industries; and
(7) how digital technology advancements are impacting the
critical manufacturing industry.
