   To direct the Director of the Office of Management and Budget to 
  establish a separate, unique North American Industry Classification 
System code for health care facility janitorial services, and for other 
                               purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Health Care Facility Janitorial 
Services Classification and Cap Enhancement Act of 2024''.

SEC. 2. SEPARATE NAICS CODE FOR HEALTH CARE FACILITY JANITORIAL 
              SERVICES.

    (a) NAICS Code.--Not later than 180 days after the date of 
enactment of this Act, the Director of the Office of Management and 
Budget shall update the North American Industry Classification System 
(in this section referred to as ``NAICS'') to establish a separate, 
unique code for the health care facility janitorial services industry.
    (b) Size Standard.--Not later than 90 days after the date on which 
an NAICS code is established under subsection (a), the Administrator of 
the Small Business Administration shall establish a size standard under 
section 3(a) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 632(a)) for an entity 
assigned such NAICS code. Such size standard may not be more than 
double the size standard for an entity assigned NAICS code 561720 
(relating to janitorial services) on the date of enactment of this Act.
    (c) Health Care Facility Janitorial Services Industry Defined.--In 
this section, the term ``health care facility janitorial services 
industry'' means an industry that comprises entities primarily engaged 
in cleaning interiors of health care facilities, including hospitals, 
outpatient facilities, clinical laboratories, or other medical 
facilities.
