A BILL
To terminate the authorities of certain entities of the Federal
Government, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Diversity Equity Inclusion Dead On
Arrival Act of 2024'' or the ``DEI DOA Act''.
SEC. 2. TERMINATION OF AUTHORITY.
(a) Definition.--In this section, the term ``covered agency'' means
an agency, the head of which is within the President's cabinet.
(b) Office Abolishments.--Effective on the date of enactment of
this Act, the authorities of the following entities of the Federal
Government shall terminate:
(1) The Office of Diversity and Inclusion of the Department
of State.
(2) The Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Civil Rights of
the Department of the Interior.
(3) The Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and
Accessibility of the Department of the Treasury.
(4) The Office of Civil Rights and Equal Employment
Opportunity of the Department of the Treasury.
(5) The Office of Civil Rights of the United States Agency
for International Development.
(6) The Office of Scientific Workforce Diversity, Equity,
and Inclusion of the Department of Energy.
(7) The Chief Diversity Officers Executive Council.
(8) The Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and
Accessibility of the Office of Personnel Management.
(9) The Office of Minority Health of the Department of
Health and Human Services.
(10) The Office of Equal Employment Opportunity, Diversity
and Inclusion of the Department of Health and Human Services.
(11) The Office of Resolution Management, Diversity and
Inclusion of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
(12) The Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and
Accessibility of the Department of Housing and Urban
Development.
(13) The Office of Civil Rights Diversity and Inclusion of
the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service of the
Department of Agriculture.
(14) The Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer of the
Department of Agriculture.
(15) The Diversity and Inclusion Office of the United
States Air Force Academy.
(16) The Office of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion of
the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau of the Department
of the Treasury.
(17) The Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion of the
National Institutes of Health.
(18) The Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Civil Rights of
the Small Business Administration.
(19) The Privacy and Diversity Office of U.S. Customs and
Border Protection.
(20) The Office of Civil Rights of the Department of
Commerce.
(21) The Office of Inclusion and Civil Rights of the
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
(22) The Office for Civil Rights, Diversity, and Inclusion
of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
(23) The Office of Energy Justice and Equity of the
Department of Energy.
(24) The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity Office of the
National Institute of Standards and Technology.
(25) The Office of Racial Equity of the Office of the City
Administrator for the District of Columbia.
(26) The Office of Equity and Civil Rights of the National
Science Foundation.
(27) The Office of Diversity and Inclusive Workforce
Management of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service.
(28) The Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and
Accessibility of the National Security Agency and the Central
Security Service.
(29) The Office of Diversity and Civil Rights of U.S.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
(30) The Office of Equal Employment Opportunity of the
Securities and Exchange Commission.
(31) The Intelligence Community Diversity, Equity,
Inclusion and Accessibility Office of the Office of the
Director of National Intelligence.
(32) The Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Office of the
Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
(33) The Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity Office
of the Defense Logistics Agency.
(34) The Army Equity and Inclusion Agency of the United
States Army.
(35) The Office of Equal Employment Opportunity, Diversity
and Inclusion of the Bureau of the Census.
(36) The Office of Equal Employment Opportunity and
Diversity of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
(37) The Affirmative Employment and Diversity Management
Program of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
(38) The Office of Diversity Inclusion and Equal
Opportunity of the United States Military Academy.
(39) The Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion of the
Internal Revenue Service.
(40) The Office of Health Equity of the Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention.
(c) Prohibitions.--
(1) Cabinet level agencies.--The head of a covered agency
may not carry out any plan relating to diversity, equity, and
inclusion.
(2) USAID.--The Administrator of the United States Agency
for International Development may not carry out the Diversity,
Equity, and Inclusion Strategy of the United States Agency for
International Development.
