 introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on

            To require mandatory minimums for sexual abuse.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Justice for Rape Survivors Act''.

SEC. 2. MANDATORY MINIMUMS FOR SEXUAL ABUSE.

    (a) Aggravated Sexual Abuse.--Section 2241 of title 18, United 
States Code, is amended--
            (1) in subsection (a), by striking ``imprisoned for any 
        term of years or life,'' and inserting ``imprisoned for not 
        less than 30 years or for life,''; and
            (2) in subsection (b), by striking ``imprisoned for any 
        term of years or life,'' and inserting ``imprisoned for not 
        less than 30 years or for life,''.
    (b) Sexual Abuse.--Section 2242 of title 18, United States Code, is 
amended by striking ``imprisoned for any term of years or for life'' 
and inserting ``imprisoned for not less than 30 years or for life''.
