 introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on 
                   Transportation and Infrastructure

                                 A BILL


 
 To amend the Water Resources Development Act of 1986 with respect to 
cost sharing provisions for the territories and Indian Tribes, and for 
                            other purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. COST SHARING PROVISIONS FOR THE TERRITORIES AND INDIAN 
              TRIBES.

    Section 1156 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1986 (33 
U.S.C. 2310) is amended--
            (1) in subsection (a), by striking ``up to $200,000'';
            (2) in subsection (d), by striking ``the waiver amount 
        described in subsection (a)'' and inserting ``any amount waived 
        under subsection (a)''; and
            (3) by striking subsection (b) and redesignating 
        subsections (c) and (d) as subsections (b) and (c), 
        respectively.
