 Urging the Biden administration to demand the release of all hostages
                                in Gaza.

Whereas, on the morning of the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah on October 7,
        2023, Hamas terrorists launched inhumane attacks on Israeli civilians by
        air, land, and sea;
Whereas at least 1,200 individuals have been killed in Israel and 2,700 others
        in Israel have been wounded;
Whereas Hamas tactics have been to target, slaughter, and brutalize innocent
        civilians in Israel, including women, children, and the elderly;
Whereas at least 22 Americans have been killed by the attacks conducted by
        Hamas;
Whereas, according to the State Department, Iran provides $100,000,000 annually
        to Palestinian terrorist groups in weapons and training;
Whereas, on September 11, 2023, Secretary of State Antony Blinken notified
        Congress that the United States had waived sanctions to allow
        $6,000,000,000 in Iranian assets being held in South Korea to be
        released to Iran; and
Whereas at least 150 Israelis were taken hostage and President Biden confirmed
        there are American citizens among the hostages captured: Now, therefore,
        be it
    Resolved, That the House of Representatives--
            (1) urges the Biden administration to demand the release of
        all hostages in Gaza;
            (2) urges the Biden administration to maintain all
        applicable sanctions on the Iranian regime, and return to a
        policy of maximum sanctions pressure;
            (3) urges the Biden administration to utilize all other
        coercive and diplomatic resources at its disposal as necessary
        to secure the release of Americans wrongfully detained in Gaza;
        and
            (4) demands the Biden administration to refreeze the
        $6,000,000,000 in Iranian funds released September 11, 2023,
        for their continued financial support and encouragement of
        Palestinian terrorist organizations.
