     To direct the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and 
 Sustainment to submit to Congress a report on incinerators and waste-
          to-energy waste disposal alternatives to burn pits.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Reducing Exposure to Burn Pits 
Act''.

SEC. 2. REPORT BY DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE ON ALTERNATIVES TO BURN PITS.

    Not later than 60 days after the date on which the President 
submits the budget of the President under section 1105(a) of title 31, 
United States Code, for fiscal year 2024, the Under Secretary of 
Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment shall submit to Congress a 
report on incinerators and waste-to-energy waste disposal alternatives 
to burn pits.
