A BILL
To prohibit agencies from using the term ``Latinx'' in official
communications or forms.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Respect for Hispanic Americans
Act''.
SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON USE OF ``LATINX''.
(a) Agency Defined.--In this section, the term ``agency'' has the
meaning given the term in section 551 of title 5, United States Code.
(b) Prohibition.--The head of an agency and any employee of the
agency may not use the term ``Latinx'' in any official communication or
form of the agency.
