Mrs. Feinstein introduced the following bill; which was read twice and 
              referred to the Committee on Armed Services

                                 A BILL


 
           To require reporting on sexual assault in surveys.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. ARMED FORCES SURVEYS.

            Section 481(c) of title 10, United States Code, is 
        amended--
            (1) by redesignating paragraphs (3), (4), and (5) as 
        paragraphs (4), (5), and (6), respectively; and
            (2) by inserting after paragraph (2) the following new 
        paragraph:
            ``(3) Indicators of the assault (including unwanted sexual 
        contact) that give reason to believe that the victim was 
        targeted, or discriminated against, or both, for their real or 
        perceived sexual orientation or status in a group as described 
        under subsections (b) or (c), and any other factor considered 
        appropriate by the Secretary.''.
