was read twice and referred to the Committee on Health, Education,
Labor, and Pensions

A BILL
To amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to prohibit institutions of
higher education that authorize Anti-Semitic events on campus from
participating in the student loan and grant programs under title IV of
such Act.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Stop Anti-Semitism on College
Campuses Act''.
SEC. 2. PROHIBITION OF ANTISEMITIC EVENTS ON CAMPUS.
Section 487(a) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C.
1094(a)) is amended by adding at the end the following:
``(30)(A) The institution will not authorize, facilitate,
provide funding for, or otherwise support any event promoting
Anti-Semitism on campus.
``(B) In this paragraph, the term `Anti-Semitism' has the
meaning given the working definition of Anti-Semitism adopted
by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance on May 26,
2016, including the contemporary examples of Anti-Semitism
cited by the Alliance.''.
