  To prohibit the importation of garlic from the People's Republic of 
                                 China.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Stopping Eating Waste And Guarantee 
Excellence for Garlic Assurance and Regulatory Legislation to Inhibit 
Chinese Imports Act of 2024'' or the ``SEWAGE GARLIC Imports Act of 
2024''.

SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON IMPORTATION OF GARLIC FROM THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC 
              OF CHINA.

    The importation of garlic that originates in the People's Republic 
of China, whether fresh, peeled, frozen, dried, dehydrated, toasted, 
roasted, packaged, in the form of an essential oil, or otherwise 
processed, is prohibited.
