    Mr. Lee introduced the following bill; which was read twice and 
       referred to the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources

                                 A BILL


 
 To amend the Mineral Leasing Act to amend references of gilsonite to 
                              asphaltite.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. MINERAL AMENDMENT TO THE MINERAL LEASING ACT.

    The first section of the Mineral Leasing Act (30 U.S.C. 181) and 
sections 21, 27, 34, 39, and 43 of that Act (30 U.S.C. 241, 184, 182, 
209, 226-3) are amended by striking ``gilsonite'' each place it appears 
and inserting ``asphaltite''.
