the school lunch program and the school breakfast program.

A BILL
To amend the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act and the Child
Nutrition Act of 1966 to prohibit the use of cell-cultivated meat under
the school lunch program and the school breakfast program.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``School Lunch Integrity Act of
2024''.
SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON CELL-CULTIVATED MEAT.
(a) School Lunch.--Section 9(a) of the Richard B. Russell National
School Lunch Act (42 U.S.C. 1758(a)) is amended--
(1) by conforming the margin of paragraph (3) to the margin
of paragraph (2); and
(2) by adding at the end the following:
``(6) Prohibition on cell-cultivated meat.--Lunches served
by schools participating in the school lunch program under this
Act may not include cell-cultivated meat.''.
(b) School Breakfast.--Section 4(e)(1) of the Child Nutrition Act
of 1966 (42 U.S.C. 1773(e)(1)) is amended by adding at the end the
following:
``(C) Prohibition on cell-cultivated meat.--
Breakfasts served by schools participating in the
school breakfast program under this section may not
include cell-cultivated meat.''.
