  Mr. Heinrich (for himself and Mr. Boozman) introduced the following 
bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Energy and 
                           Natural Resources

                                 A BILL


 
    To amend the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and 
        Recreation Act to extend the Every Kid Outdoors program.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. EVERY KID OUTDOORS PROGRAM EXTENSION.

    Section 9001(b) of the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, 
Management, and Recreation Act (16 U.S.C. 6804 note; Public Law 116-9) 
is amended--
            (1) in paragraph (2)(B), by striking ``during the period 
        beginning on September 1 and ending on August 31 of the 
        following year'' and inserting ``for a 12-month period that 
        begins on a date determined by the Secretaries''; and
            (2) in paragraph (5), by striking ``the date that is 7 
        years after the date of enactment of this Act'' and inserting 
        ``September 30, 2031''.
