  To extend by 5 years the term of the Special Inspector General for 
                           Pandemic Recovery.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``COVID Spending Transparency Act of 
2024''.

SEC. 2. TERMINATION.

    Section 4018(h) of the CARES Act (15 U.S.C. 9053(h)) is amended by 
striking ``5'' and inserting ``10''.
