A BILL
To add the Consumer Product Safety Commission to the list of agencies
required to be represented on the PFAS interagency working group.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Protecting Consumers from PFAS
Act''.
SEC. 2. PFAS INTERAGENCY WORKING GROUP.
Section 332(b) of William M. (Mac) Thornberry National Defense
Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 (15 U.S.C. 8963(b)) is amended--
(1) in paragraph (19), by striking ``and'' at the end;
(2) by redesignating paragraph (20) as paragraph (21); and
(3) by inserting after paragraph (19), the following:
``(20) the Consumer Product Safety Commission; and''.
SEC. 3. LIMITATION ON NEW FUNDING.
No additional funds are authorized to be appropriated for the
purpose of carrying out this Act (including the amendments made by this
Act).
