A BILL
To amend title 18, United States Code, to authorize Secret Service to
reimburse State and local governments for the use of services,
personnel, equipment, and facilities.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Presidential Security Resources
Reimbursement Act of 2025''.
SEC. 2. AUTHORIZATION FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS
FOR THE USE OF SERVICES, PERSONNEL, EQUIPMENT, AND
FACILITIES.
Section 3056 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by adding
at the end the following:
``(h) In carrying out the functions pursuant to paragraphs (3) and
(7) of subsection (a), the Secretary of Homeland Security may utilize,
with their consent, on a reimbursable basis, the services, personnel,
equipment, and facilities of State and local governments, and is
authorized to reimburse such State and local governments for the
utilization of such services, personnel, equipment, and facilities.''.
SEC. 3. RETROACTIVE APPLICATION.
For purposes of the application of section 3056(h) of title 18,
United States Code, the Secretary of Homeland Security may in addition
provide reimbursement for any utilization, for purposes of carrying out
the functions pursuant to paragraphs (3) and (7) of section 3056(a) of
such title, of the services, personnel, equipment, and facilities of
State and local governments that occurred during the period beginning
July 12, 2024, and ending on the effective date of this section.
