Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Protecting Kids from Fentanyl Act of 2025''. SEC. 2. USE OF PREVENTIVE HEALTH AND HEALTH SERVICES BLOCK GRANTS TO PURCHASE LIFE-SAVING OPIOID ANTAGONISTS FOR SCHOOLS AND TO PROVIDE RELATED TRAINING AND EDUCATION TO STUDENTS AND TEACHERS. Section 1904(a)(1) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 300w-3(a)(1)) is amended-- (1) by redesignating subparagraphs (F) and (G) as (I) and (J), respectively; (2) By inserting after subparagraph (E) the following: ``(F) Purchasing naloxone or other opioid antagonists for use in educational institutions. ``(G) Providing training to school nurses, teachers, school administrators, and school resource officers on how to administer naloxone or other opioid antagonists. ``(H) Providing fentanyl awareness classes or materials to students.''; and (3) in each of subparagraphs (I) and (J), as redesignated by paragraph (1), by striking ``(A) through (F)'' and inserting ``(A) through (H)''. <all>
