  which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce, and in 
  addition to the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, for a 
 period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for 
consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the 
                          committee concerned

 To codify Executive Order 14292 relating to Improving the Safety and 
                    Security of Biological Research.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Executive Order 14292 Act of 2025''.

SEC. 2. CODIFICATION OF EXECUTIVE ORDER.

    Executive Order 14292 (relating to Improving the Safety and 
Security of Biological Research (signed on May 5, 2025)) shall have the 
force and effect of law.
