A BILL
To provide funding for programs and activities of the National Center
for HIV, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and Tuberculosis Prevention of the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``HIV Prevention Now Act''.
SEC. 2. FUNDING FOR NATIONAL CENTER FOR HIV, VIRAL HEPATITIS, STD, AND
TUBERCULOSIS PREVENTION.
(a) In General.--There is hereby appropriated for programs and
activities of the National Center for HIV, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and
Tuberculosis Prevention of the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention $2,165,000,000 for fiscal year 2026.
(b) Treatment of Funds.--Funds made available under subsection
(a)--
(1) shall be in addition to other amounts appropriated to
the Department of Health and Human Services, including the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention;
(2) shall be used exclusively for the purposes specified in
subsection (a); and
(3) may not be transferred to any entity other than the
National Center for HIV, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and Tuberculosis
Prevention.
