introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on
Natural Resources

A BILL
To reserve to Congress the authority to establish or extend a national
monument.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Ending Presidential Overreach on
Public Lands Act''.
SEC. 2. NATIONAL MONUMENTS.
Section 320301 of title 54, United States Code (commonly referred
to as the ``Antiquities Act''), is amended to read as follows:
``Sec. 320301. National monuments
``The establishment or extension of a national monument may be
undertaken only by express authorization of Congress.''.
