Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``No Foreign Persons Administering Our Elections Act''. SEC. 2. REQUIREMENTS WITH RESPECT TO HIRING OF ELECTION ADMINISTRATORS FOR AN ELECTION FOR FEDERAL OFFICE. (a) In General.--A State or local jurisdiction may not hire an individual who is not a citizen of the United States to administer an election for Federal office in the State or local jurisdiction. (b) Effective Date.--This section shall apply with respect to any election for Federal office held on or after the date of the enactment of this Act. <all>
