                               RESOLUTION

    Expressing support for the designation of February 5, 2025, as
                     ``National Prosecutors Day''.

Whereas the House of Representatives wishes to recognize prosecutors as
        essential contributors to our legal system, that diligently work to
        ensure fair and impartial justice, deter criminal behavior, and protect
        the fundamental rights and safety of our communities;
Whereas prosecutors are dedicated public servants who strongly advocate for
        victims by amplifying their voices, supporting trauma-informed, victim-
        centered services, and implementing compassionate, community-driven
        initiatives;
Whereas the impact of prosecutors extends beyond the courtroom, including
        collaborative efforts with law enforcement, community leaders, victims
        support networks, and public organizations to develop comprehensive
        approaches that foster community trust, promote public safety, and
        create sustainable pathways to prosperity; and
Whereas the National District Attorneys Association (NDAA) commemorates its 75th
        year of service as the preeminent organization supporting America's
        prosecutors, providing comprehensive training, critical resources, and
        impactful advocacy to uphold justice and protect communities nationwide:
        Now, therefore, be it
    Resolved, That the House of Representatives--
            (1) supports the designation of a ``National Prosecutors
        Day'';
            (2) calls upon all residents to join in recognizing the
        vital work these public servants partake in to maintain justice
        and ensure safety among our communities; and
            (3) urges State, Tribal, and local governments to--
                    (A) spread awareness and promote the existence of
                National Prosecutors Day and appreciation for the role
                of prosecutors in our communities; and
                    (B) educate the public about the integral role of
                prosecutors and the judicial system as a whole play in
                ensuring community safety and prosperity.
