Mrs. Luna submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the
Committee on Rules

RESOLUTION
Providing for the consideration of the joint resolution (H. J. Res. 12)
proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to
limit the number of terms that a Member of Congress may serve.
Resolved, That immediately upon adoption of this resolution,
without intervention of any point of order, the House shall proceed to
the consideration in the House of the joint resolution (H. J. Res. 12)
proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to
limit the number of terms that a Member of Congress may serve. The
resolution shall be considered as read. The previous question shall be
considered as ordered on the resolution to adoption without intervening
motion or demand for division of the question except one hour of debate
equally divided and controlled by the chair and ranking minority member
of the Committee on the Judiciary or their respective designees.
Sec. 2. Clause 1(c) of rule XIX shall not apply to the
consideration of H. J. Res. 12.
