bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Health,
Education, Labor, and Pensions

A BILL
To reauthorize the Special Diabetes Program for Type 1 Diabetes and the
Special Diabetes Program for Indians.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Special Diabetes Program
Reauthorization Act of 2025''.
SEC. 2. EXTENSION OF PROGRAMS.
(a) Special Diabetes Programs for Type I Diabetes.--Section
330B(b)(2) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 254c-2(b)(2)) is
amended--
(1) in subparagraph (F), by striking ``; and'' and
inserting a semicolon;
(2) in subparagraph (G), by striking the period at the end
and inserting a semicolon; and
(3) by adding at the end the following:
``(H) $160,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2026
and 2027, to remain available until expended; and
``(I) $40,000,000 for the period beginning on
October 1, 2027, and ending on December 31, 2027, to
remain available until expended.''.
(b) Special Diabetes Program for Indians.--Section 330C(c)(2) of
the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 254c-3(c)(2)) is amended--
(1) in subparagraph (F), by striking ``; and'' and
inserting a semicolon;
(2) in subparagraph (G), by striking the period at the end
and inserting a semicolon; and
(3) by adding at the end the following:
``(H) $160,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2026
and 2027, to remain available until expended; and
``(I) $40,000,000 for the period beginning on
October 1, 2027, and ending on December 31, 2027, to
remain available until expended.''.
