Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Health Care Freedom and Choice Act''. SEC. 2. SHORT-TERM, LIMITED DURATION INSURANCE RULE NULLIFICATION. The final interagency rule published by the Internal Revenue Service, the Employee Benefits Security Administration, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services relating to ``Short-Term, Limited- Duration Insurance and Independent, Noncoordinated Excepted Benefits Coverage'' (89 Fed. Reg. 23338 (April 3, 2024)) shall have no force or effect. <all>
