             FIXING THE HOUR OF DAILY MEETING OF THE SENATE

  Mr. THUNE. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate 
proceed to the consideration of S. Res. 7, which was submitted earlier 
today.
  The PRESIDENT pro tempore. The clerk will report the resolution by 
title.
  The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A resolution (S. Res. 7) fixing the hour of daily meeting 
     of the Senate.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the 
resolution.
  Mr. THUNE. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the resolution 
be agreed to and the motion to reconsider be considered made and laid 
upon the table with no intervening action or debate.
  The PRESIDENT pro tempore. Without objection, it is so ordered.
  The resolution (S. Res. 7) was agreed to as follows:

                               S. Res. 7

       Resolved, That the daily meeting of the Senate be 12 
     o'clock meridian unless otherwise ordered.
