Amendment expressed as the sense of Congress that the U.S. should impose sanctions against the exports of food and agricultural products from Romania as well as encourage a coordinated policy regarding such sanctions with allied countries because of the continued abuse by the Government of Romania of the human rights of its citizens.

Purpose:

An amendment expressing the sense of Congress that the U.S. should impose sanctions against the importation of all food and agricultural products of the Socialist Republic of Romania due to its continuing abuse of human rights against its citizens.
