Amendment created a fish and wildlife response plan within the National Contingency Plan to better coordinate the efforts of various government entities in providing greater protection for fish and wildlife against oil spills.


An amendment to require that a fish and wildlife response plan, as part of the National Contingency Plan, be developed. This plan would provide for the protection, rescue, treatment, rehabilitation, and restoration of fish and wildlife affected by spills.
