Amendments en bloc sought to stipulate that for the purposes of this Act, lands may not be acquired by the Federal government without the consent of the owner.


An amendment to prohibit the use of condemnation procedures to acquire private lands within the designated national parks, national monument, and wilderness areas. The amendment stipulates that land acquisitions be obtained only from willing sellers.
