Amendment sought to transfer $213.7 million from UN peacekeeping payments to accounts which would reimburse States for the costs of incarcerating illegal aliens and for community policing.
An amendment to transfer monies in the amount of $213,745,000 from accounts for international peacekeeping payments to the U.N. to accounts which would serve to reimburse states for costs of incarcerating illegal aliens ($87,500,000) and for community policing at home ($119,000,000) resulting in an aggregate reduction of $7,245,000 in amounts otherwise provided.
