Amendment sought to require the President to submit to Congress a report disclosing the total amount appropriated for intelligence activities during the current fiscal year and the total amount being requested for the next fiscal year.

Purpose:

An amendment, printed as amendment No. 3 in the Congressional Record of May, 16, 1996, to require the President to submit to Congress an annual separate, unclassified intelligence budget detailing the aggregate amounts spent for intellegence activities.
