Amendments prohibit States from considering charter school grants as payment to tribal schools under the Tribally Controlled Schools Act of 1988; rename the bill as the "Community-Designed Charter Schools Act"; and make ineligible for grants under the Act any person convicted of the fraudulent use of the "Made in America" label.

Purpose:

An amendment, consisting of several amendments offered en bloc, to do the following: 1. A Pastor amendment to prohibit States from considering charter school grants as payment to tribal schools under the Tribally Controlled Schools Act of 1988; 2. A Kingston amendment to change the title of the bill to "Community-Designed Charter Schools Act"; 3. A Mr. Traficant amendment to make ineligible for grants under the Act any person convicted of fraudulent use of "Made in America" lables.
