Amendment clarifies that any independent counsel appointed under title 28 of the United States Code and any employee of such independent counsel is covered under title 8 of the bill which establishes ethical standards for Federal prosecutors.
An amendment to include any independent counsel appointed under title 28, United States Code, in the provisions of Title VIII, Citizens Protection, cited as the "Citizens Protection Act of 1998."
