Amendment provides $500 million in Community Development Block Grant funding for disaster relief to communities affected by flooding in the upper midwest and other disasters in fiscal year 1997.
An amendment, printed as amendment No. 4 in House Rpt. 105-97 to appropriate $500 million in additional funding for the Community Development Block Grants program. The amendment would reduce funding for the Federal Emergency Management Agency by a comparable amount.
