Amends Federal veterans' benefits provisions to make permanent the following GI bill educational assistance programs, each of which are currently scheduled to terminate on June 30, 1988: (1) the active-duty program; (2) the active-duty and Selected Reserve program; and (3) the Selected Reserve program.
Amends the Department of Defense Authorization Act, 1985 to rename title VII of such Act the Montgomery GI Bill Act of 1984.
