discontinuations of Department of Veterans Affairs monetary benefits.

Mr. MONTGOMERY (by request) introduced the following bill; which was referred
to the Committee on Veterans' Affairs
A BILL
To amend title 38, United States Code, to extend from 60 days to 120 days
the period between notice and effective date for certain reductions and
discontinuations of Department of Veterans Affairs monetary benefits.
  Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United
  States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. EFFECTIVE DATE FOR REDUCTION OR DISCONTINUATION OF CERTAIN
VETERANS' BENEFITS.
  Section 3012(b)(6) of title 38, United States Code, is amended by striking
  out `sixty days' and inserting in lieu thereof `120 days'.
