Condemns the violence in South Africa. Urges the Government of South Africa to take steps to end the violence and protect all South Africans. Stresses the responsibility of all parties to end the violence and urges them to return to negotiations within the Convention for Democratic South Africa.
Urges the President to submit to the House of Representatives a report on the nature of the violence in South Africa, the role that the various participants are playing, and the impact of such violence on South Africa's transition to democracy.
