R. 3872 To amend the National School Lunch Act to extend the authority of the commodity distribution program through fiscal year 2003. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES May 14, 1998 Mr. Castle (for himself and Mr. Riggs) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Education and the Workforce _______________________________________________________________________ A BILL To amend the National School Lunch Act to extend the authority of the commodity distribution program through fiscal year 2003. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. COMMODITY DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM. Section 14(a) of the National School Lunch Act (42 U.S.C. 1762a(a)) is amended in the matter preceding paragraph (1) by striking ``1998'' and inserting ``2003''. <all>
