Consumer Awareness of Market-based Drug Prices Act of 2000 - Amends title XIX (Medicaid) of the Social Security Act to require the Secretary of Health and Human Services to publicize certain market-based drug pricing information received from drug manufacturers, including: (1) average manufacturer's price; (2) manufacturer's best price with respect to single source and innovator multiple source drugs; and (3) the base average and initial average manufacturer price for newly marketed drugs used to determine an additional rebate for single source and innovator multiple source drugs.

Authorizes appropriations.
