R. 4556 To suspend temporarily the duty on a certain chemical. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES April 23, 2002 Mrs. Tauscher introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Ways and Means _______________________________________________________________________ A BILL To suspend temporarily the duty on a certain chemical. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. PENTYL[2-CHLORO-5-(CYCLOHEX-1-ENE-1,2-DICARBOXIMIDO)-4- FLUOROPHENOXY] ACETATE. (a) In General.--Subchapter II of chapter 99 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States is amended by striking heading 9902.33.66 and inserting the following: `` 9902.33.66 Pentyl[2-chloro- Free No change No change On or before 12/ 5-(cyclohex-1- 31/2005 '' ene-1,2- . dicarboximido)- 4-fluoro- phenoxy]acetate (CAS No. 87546- 18-7) (provided for in subheading 2925.19.42).... (b) Effective Date.--The amendment made by this section shall apply with respect to goods entered, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after the 15th day after the date of enactment of this Act. <all>
