   Encouraging the people of the United States to honor Patriot Day, 
  September 11, by writing to the men and women serving in the Armed 
                                Forces.

Mr. Skelton (for himself, Mr. Stump, Mr. Larson of Connecticut, and Mr. 
   Hunter) submitted the following concurrent resolution; which was 
             referred to the Committee on Government Reform

                         CONCURRENT RESOLUTION


 
   Encouraging the people of the United States to honor Patriot Day, 
  September 11, by writing to the men and women serving in the Armed 
                                Forces.

Whereas in remembrance of the individuals who lost their lives as a result of 
        the terrorist attacks against the United States on September 11, 2001, 
        Congress designated September 11 as Patriot Day: Now, therefore, be it
    Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), 
That Congress encourages the people of the United States to honor 
Patriot Day, September 11, by remembering those individuals who lost 
their lives as a result of the terrorist attacks and by writing letters 
to the men and women serving to protect the Nation in the Armed Forces 
at home and overseas.
