Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Workers with Disabilities Opportunity Act''. SEC. 2. REMOVING LIMITATION ON PERIOD OF MEDICARE ELIGIBILITY FOR DISABLED WORKERS. (a) In General.--The next to last sentence of section 226(b) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 426(b)) is amended by striking ``, but not in excess of 78 such months''. (b) Effective Date.--The amendment made by subsection (a) shall take effect on October 1, 2003. (c) Conforming Repeal.--Section 202(c) of the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act of 1999 (Public Law 106-170; 113 Stat. 1894) is repealed. <all>
