Independent Living Assistance Access Act of 2005 - Amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to provide J (exchange visitor) nonimmigrant status to aliens working as independent living assistants (defined as individuals who provide in-home living and home support services to adults with disabilities).
Requires aliens accorded such status to receive appropriate training prior to placement.
