Commemorates the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Minority AIDS Initiative.
Commends the efforts of community organizations and health care providers in minority communities to deliver HIV/AIDS care and services.
Encourages all Americans to educate themselves about the HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment and to reduce HIV related stigma.
Encourages the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to appropriately address populations significantly impacted by HIV/AIDS not only through the Initiative, but through all available programs.
Expresses support for the continuing efforts of the Initiative to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS and urges effective, compassionate treatment and care to those affected.
